Frances Keiser has 15 years’ experience in the publishing industry and has worked in every facet of independent publishing. She is owner of Sagaponack Books, a micro company founded in 1999 that has won numerous national awards. Her company handles pre-press jobs in-house as well as post-production work including distribution and marketing. Frances has authored two book series: The Adventures of Pelican Pete environmental education picture books and a nonfiction nature-based series. She is currently creating a series for a national PBS show, as well as a series of reading books for the publisher Wilbooks. Frances is a founding member of the Florida Heritage Book Festival and the Get Outdoors Florida! coalition, and is a University of Florida Master Naturalist who writes a weekly newspaper column to help children connect with nature. www.sagaponackbooks.com.
