E-publishing is changing the book world. There will always be traditionally published books, but now with the e-book revolution, authors have brave new ways to share their writing with readers.
If you are an author who has been thinking of e-publishing your book, you probably have questions:
- What exactly is e-publishing and how does it work?
- Can I transform my manuscripts into e-books and make money?
- Which e-publishing option is right for me? Barnes & Noble’s Nook, Amazon’s Kindle, Apple’s iBook Store?
- What are the technical requirements of submitting my manuscripts to make the transformation to e-books?
- Do I still need an editor and if so, how do I find the right one?
- What about book cover designs? And do I need blurbs like books on the shelf of my local book store?
- How do readers find my e-books with all those other e-books out there?
- How do I market my e-books and do I still need platforms and social media to drive sales?
- Where do I start?
